Over 1000 Service Providers currently offer their SMB customers an online backup service – powered by Vembu StoreGrid. With our AmazonS3  Cloud support, you can now start an Online Backup Service with your backup server running on Amazon EC2 and using Amazon EBS/S3 for storage. Maybe a good source for creating a source of income. I found as sevice provider that the licensing structure was a bit difficult to grasp and resale. For one you sale a seat or multiple seat license for servers and then you have the cloud space and bandwidth charges. Seems a little pricey but definitely a good option for businesses, SMBs as an enterprise backup solution.
